These Brillo pads appear to be rather small. I guess I didn't research the difference between basic pads and regular. Nonetheless, these are steel wool pads and they do the same job as the larger pads.I was supposed to get two boxes of eight Brillo pads.I received 1 box of 12 mini pads.no goodThese Brillo Basics are Brillo Basics just like they are in the brick and mortar stores. They are Brillo's smaller, one-time use pads. They have the same great soap on them with steel threads that don't pierce your fingers! When I cook evening meals, it's very rare that I have 5 or 6 pots and/or baking dishes that need a Brillo pad for clean-up. Usually, what has happened so often in the past is I have used the regular Brillo pad on one or two pots/pans or baking dishes and then left the Brillo on a sponge to dry. Inevitably and eventually, the areas of the pad I've used ends up rusting before I can use the entire pad. Then, before I realize it, I have a started to scrub a pot with one and have rusted bits in my soapy water and a couple of broken slivers poking into my flesh. These smaller "Basic" pads have solved that for me. I'm sure they won't work for everyone, especially those who have large families. I wouldn't depend on a single pad if your nightly cooking resembles a holiday gathering meal type of clean-up, but if you find yourself throwing out a lot of partially used Brillo Pads because they've gotten rusty these will most likely work MUCH BETTER for you than regular Brillo Pads! The two boxes of these than come in this order are less than half the price of one box of the regular pads -- at least when I ordered in Jan 2022 at $4/Two boxes. Shipping is 5-9 days, but again, TWO boxes of 10 (20 pads in all) are very cost-effective when compared to one box of Regular Brillo Pads.FYI: I'm good about updating my reviews, including in the title, if anything changes about a product's quality, cost, shipping, and any other effects especially if an item is not sold through Amazon....
