Decent thickness for what it is and great for moving. Some of my dishes and stuff that was more fragile I ended up wrapping with at least two pieces of the paper just to make sure they wouldn't break. Everything survived the moving process, but I was only moving out a 3rd floor apartment to a house 20 minutes away so I'm not sure about the effectiveness of a long haul move. There was more than enough paper to move my full kitchen. Worth the buy if you're moving or even just storing fragile stuff long term
