I’ve been eating this product for years…I don’t make brownies with it, I mix it in with vanilla yogurt to make a pudding like concoction. YumThese are excellent for being so much lower in fat & calories. I make 2 boxes at a time and I pour them into my silicone muffin pan that has been sprayed with Pam. 2 boxes makes 12 very full muffins and 3 extra muffins cups on the side.(I have individual silicone stand alone muffin cups). I also add a large handful of semi sweet chocolate chips. I know that ads to the calories but it adds so much goodness. I always remove them from the oven before they seem done. I don't use the toothpick test. I just tap the tops and make sure they aren't still wet or super jiggly. They set up nice and fudge after they cool. If u cook til toothpick is clean they aren't nearly as good. I've made them with just the yogurt and the yogurt & egg recipe. I usually use the one with the eggs. When u first add the yogurt & mix to the bowl it seems extremely dry and u feel like u want to add liquid. Don't! Just keep mixing and the yogurt will all incorporate. Don't over mix or brownies won't be as tender. Oh, I always add an extra splash of vanilla too, even if I use vanilla yogurt. The packaging is better now. They use to have a paper insert in each box that leaked the mix all over. Now they use more of a plastic bag insert. Hasn't leaked at all since they been using those. These aren't cheap : especially since I use 2 boxes at once but they are worth it. I mean how often do u make brownies? Actually for us, we will use this box of 6 in a month. We've ordered like 8 orders of 6 boxes within the past year! I have 3 teenagers and they love these! So far I've only made the Single Serve portions but I was pleasantly surprised. They don't have the same texture as regular brownies - I find them a tad too soft - but they're pretty darn good!I have been buying these for years and love them. I don't feel guilty eating them. I have always been pleased with the taste. They are moist and taste like a brownie no gritty taste or after taste that some no fat free products have.We are vegan and I make my own Greek yogurt from tofu, and I use as directed they come out moist and cake like.We also buy the PB fit powdered peanut butter (also the best) and I frost them with that! What more could you ask for chocolate and peanut butter!!!!If you're looking for taste without the guilt, I would recommend getting these you won't be sorry. It's really hard to find any kind of chocolate product that doesn't have a lot of saturated fat. I bought a package of this brownie mix and the taste and texture is so good, my next order was a full case! If you are on a low saturated fat diet but crave delicious chocolate, this is perfect! These brownies are good out right out of the oven. However, they are even better cold. Overall rating X, for extra good!❤️I order these every year because my dad has a heart healthy diet. He really likes them, and while I still like my brownies with a little more fat in them, they are very good for being healthy. The problem is that the box ALWAYS leaks. I wish they would package them differently. The inner package is a paper bag sealed with a waxy adhesive. It's not sealed well. Sometimes there are even small rips or cuts in the paper that allow a lot of the powder to leak out. The individual boxes are not cut, so it's something that happens in the production line. One year I returned them and got them replaced, but the replacements leaked, too. Dad likes them, so I keep ordering them anyway and hope that the heat of the oven kills off anything germy that might have gotten in since it's not hermetically sealed. My wife and I eat a low-fat diet and these are perfect for us - a real, rich, dark chocolate flavor (we do like the mint and cappuccino ones too but prefer the original). We make it with fat free, no-sugar greek yogurt to keep it healthy and it tastes awesome. I usually add vanilla to the yogurt but have added other extracts like peanut butter. I also like to take de-fatted powered peanut butter, reconstitute it and then swirl it in. These also freeze well and there is a way to make a quick small portion in the microwave - but why make a small batch when you can have a full batch I say. I remember buying this when it was ladies running it out of their house in the North East - and if you ordered during their black fly special they gave you bonuses - and nice hand written letters.
